Graduation Day!!!

Proud parents are we at the Froh household. Our BIG GIRL Ms. Maddie graduated from the preschool class she was in at the YMCA. They did such a wonderful job teaching her so many things. She grew so much over the school year and learned a lot!!! Thank you to the teachers and to the Y.

Below is a clip of our big girl walking across the stage getting her diploma. Such a great event and a proud moment for Mom and Dad. We love you BabyGirl!

Love You Mommy!

This is enough to melt your heart. Maddie looked at me and said, "Daddy I am going to pray" I said ok. She did the following...

Im 3. . .and then some. . . .

Well, I must say that updating this has not been on the top of our priority list as of late, or lately to be exact.  Life gets in the way - PERIOD!  I tend to grant us all gold stars if we can all make it to work/school with matching clothes, teeth brushed, and breakfast in our belly.  But none the less, plenty has happened at the Froh Casa.

#1) We are in this house and trying to get settled in with decor on the walls as soon as we can.  As of Monday we have a driveway and the next thing on the list is the yard.  I feel so terrible when Maddie asks to play outside. . .we reply - "ummm, in the street or the garage!"  I cant wait until this summer is here and we can roll in the yard and I can school her on her basketball hoop!  Not to mention, we have layers upon layers of chalk to use for very imporant pictures on the driveway.  BRING ON SUMMER!

#2) Incase you didnt check the calendar, Maddie is 3!!!!!!!!  Can you believe it?  We did such a good job keeping you up to speed on what was going on with her, but as of late we came short.  Let me introduce you to Maddie - age 3 . . . .

LOVES -

*Her family - cant get enough of her Grandma/Grandpa and Nana/Papa - we get it, they wrestle, skip naps, and take her to McDonalds and Culbbers (Culvers).  I would pick those people first too.

*Preschool - she loves it.  Enough said.  Songs, pictures, friends, etc.  She is loving it and would live there if she could.  I am having a hard time realizing that she will have her first graduation in a few short weeks.  YES, I do count graduation at the age of 3.  Im a proud mommy.

*Friends - She remembers all of the little people that she hangs out with.  It doesnt matter if she sees them a few times a week or every other week.  She knows who they are, where they live, and who their mommy/daddy are - kinda creepy.

*Princesses - Tangeled and Princess and the Frog are her top two at the time!

*Dancing/Singing/Puzzles/Coloring - keeps this crazy kid busy.

*Us - she has so much fun with both Pat and I.  We both have the chance to show her different things.

These goggles dont go anywhere. . . . .she loves them!!

Best Buddies!!!

I think the age of 3 is by far my favorite. The conversations we have, the belly giggles, and the adventures. . . . .it is amazing!  I love being the mom to a 3yr old.  Dont get me wrong, she makes me want to scream some days, but the honesty she gives me day in and day out keep me thinking.  Happy "3 - going on 15" birthday Maddie - WE LOVE YOU!!!

Funny of the Day

Yesterdays funny of the day:
I was drying Maddie's hair after her shower. When I dry her hair, I sit her in the sink so she can watch. I was done drying her hair and was combing through her hair. At this time this is when Maddie stands up in the sink. "Maddie, please sit down" I said. Didn't phase her. I say it again. "Maddie PLEASE sit down".

Her response: "No I dont want to sit down. I dont want to get a hole in my butt."
Me: "WHAT!?!?!"
Maddie: "Dad, if I sit down on my butt I will get a hole in my butt. I dont want a hole in my butt"
Me: "OMG....."

Non stop laughing on my part. Maddie was quite serious and upset that I was laughing at her.
Too FUNNY

Love,
Dad

A Home for the Holidays!!!

2011 has been a very interesting yet trying year. Jamie and I have had numerous changes take place over the last year! Maddie is getting so big and smart and is loving her preschool class she takes at the YMCA two days a week. We have been blessed to have the family and friends that are in our lives. With the upcoming holidays we have had some time to reflect and lots of time for Joy, which is always easy when you just look at Maddie. She sees the world in such a different prism that makes us realized how blessed we are.

They saying/song goes I'll be home for the holidays. Our current theme/
song is "A Home for the Holidays". For those of you that dont know Jamie, Maddie and I have been living in cramped two bedroom apartment for the last 6 months. I am pleased to now say that we will be finally moving into our new home! A home for the holidays.... Couldn't be any better than that!

We wished it would have been sooner but most of that is driven by wanting to celebrate the Christmas spirit with Maddie. She sees all the lights outside of houses and sees that some of our neighbors at the apartment have Christmas trees up and she asks "Daddy... Mommy... Can we have one of those??!!". So of course being the proud Daddy that wrapped around his baby's finger I promised her that we would have a tree up before Christmas came! So now we have to move and immediately after that I have to put up a Christmas tree! :) Anything for that little girl.

So we are to move in this weekend! Our new address is:
The Froh's
W173N10024 Meadow Creek Way
Germantown, WI 53022

We look forward to many memories, holidays and get together's at the new house!! We can't wait! Thank you to all of the family and friends helping to get us into the house and to those who have helped throughout the process. We love you all very much!

What are the Holidays?

The quickest answer is the following:

The holidays would be nothing without the ones you love. The true spirit behind all of the holidays is to stop the hustle and bustle and to remember whats the most important thing in life, what is the thing that makes you the happiest, what is the one thing that you live and die for... Family.

My holidays would be boring, gray, dark, gloomy, vanilla, emotionless etc. etc. without my girls. Both of them have the ability to walk into the room and make it glow. They both have the ability to look at you and say something or make a face and melt your heart. They both cant sit still even if you ask them too. They both are determined to help you regardless. They both have attitude and spunk. They both have the ability to give you a hug and make you feel like nothing else matters.

At the end of the day nothing else matters besides them and their happiness. That is what makes me happy. That is why the holidays matter and thats what the holidays are supposed to be about... Family!

Love you girls with all my heart. You are my everything and my only thing!

Oh So Tired

Maddie and I were driving and she was a little tired. She zonked out within 15 minutes of the ride. I had to take the picture though because she at least went out with style....
