Summer, is that really you????

What a wonderful weekend to be outside!!!!!!! I had to work all weekend, but at least I had my afternoons free to be outside and soak in all of the sunshine!!!! Pat and Maddie lived outside all weekend while I was at work and they loved every minute of it!!!!!!

Tomorrow Miss Maddie is 15 months old - wow!!

**Favorite foods - banana (she would eat these all day), crackers, toast, and mac & cheese

**New foods - bbq pork, hot dog, feta cheese

**New tricks - dunking her head in her water table and laughing, smelling your shoes and turning her nose up, multiple animal noises thanks to her dad, throwing garbage away in the kitchen, climbing up the ladder on her new play house in the backyard

Her and I will be living outside this week as it is suppose to continue to be warm and sunny!!! Pat is in Seattle this week so it will be a girls week!!!

Here are some shots from out summer weekend!!

One of those weeks. . . .

Its been one of those weeks. . . .the kind that you would like to forget but cant. The kind that make you bottle your feelings all day so Maddie doesnt know that something is wrong. . . . .and then once you here the silence in her monitor you know its ok to shed a tear. The kind that keep you awake at night asking why and never getting an answer. Or asking yourself what you can do and knowing the answer is nothing. Its been one of those weeks that you count your blessings. . .

BUT. . . .it has also been one of those weeks that I got to laugh because I think my daughter is one of the funniest people I know. You hear parents talk about their kids and say, "He/She is really advanced for her age!" I like to say, "Maddie is fricken funny!!" Here are a few highlights from our week together. . . .

**Running into our class at the YMCA on Tuesday in the pouring rain and she puts her face to the sky to let the raindrops fall into her mouth!

**At our class on Tuesday she walks up to this little boy, says hi, blows him a kiss, and runs away laughing (Pat doesnt know about that one!)

**I took her swimming on Wednesday and was showing her how to blow bubbles in the water - she dunked her entire head. . .came up blinking like crazy. . . .and then laughed

**At bath time on Wednesday night I got her undressed, she ran into the bathroom in the buff, stood next to the toilet and decided to tinkle on the floor - her and I both were laughing so hard

**I told her this morning that her daddy was coming home and her eyes lit up

Its been one of those weeks. . . . .the kind that you make it through the hard stuff but also enjoy the good stuff . . .

LIFE

May already huh, wow! Life has kept the Froh family busy as usual! Pat and I have been doing a lot of reflecting about life lately. Thinking about what we want out of life, who we want in our life, and what it has blessed us with. We are thankful for so many things in our life and it is nice to take a step back and think about those things once and awhile. This week we did just that and I must say, it has been a fantastic week! Pat and Maddie decided to start celebrating Mother's Day on Monday for me, so I have been spoiled! Coming home to a clean house, massages, and flowers are a few of the things I have been treated to this week - I am one lucky lady!

Hanging out in the Dells. . . Dont know what we would do w/o these 2 in our life!

Maddie's first ice cream cone!

A typical day with Maddie - smiles and giggles!

Playing outside in our new tunnel!

Life is good. . . . .
