Proud to Wear Pink

The morning after Jamie and I ran the Glow Run 5k we found ourselves back at the lakefront of downtown Milwaukee for another race. This time it was the Susan G. walk to fight against breast cancer. This walk has always had a special meaning for us. My mother-in-law has fought and won against breast cancer and we are so proud of her. It has been 7 years since she has been cancer free and we can't be happier for her.

We Love You Mom/Grandma!

This year we had the whole crew plus my mom was up from Florida and joined us on the walk!

                                               Round 2 of races

                                                             Jamie and her Mini-Me!

Pat's First 5k

Jamie has conquered the world and back with the different races, tough mudder, dirty girl and others. She is our fitness Queen. She has helped drive me to do my first 5k. We have ran throughout the neighborhood and have tried to stay active. It has all paid off as I was able to run my first 5k side by side with my Queen.

Thanks Baby for keeping me motivated! I love you!

                                             Before the Race

I tried to snap a picture during one of the black light tunnels

                                               After the race.... Still Standing

Little Badgers!

We have some fun little animals and they love to have football parties. Here are our little monkeys in their badger gear.

Are these two related at all????

I think this little guy looks like someone else I know too... Do you????

Harley Fest!

As everyone knows it was the 110th anniversary for Harley Davidson. There was parties and events all around Milwaukee. The best thing about it was watching a 4 year old who loves to see motorcycles and thinks its the coolest thing that girls and boys can ride them. Just like two of her favorite people.... Silly Jilly and Mr. Jim, our neighbor.

Mr. Jim and Ms. Gail were going to attend one of HD's events and stopped by and was telling Maddie about it. So Maddie was excited and thought she could ask Mr. Jim for a ride on his motorcycle. So Daddy helped Maddie get all decked out to ask Mr. Jim if she could get a ride.

And the ride the was the best part of it for Maddie...

Testing It Out

Cayden had to test out the new swing set too. Maddie has been up, down and all around on that thing and Cayden has only been able to watch his sister climb the playset like a monkey.

Now it was his turn....

He LOVED IT!
