So Much to be Thankful for. . .

Morning -

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone already and we have so much to be thankful for! First and foremost, our beautiful daughter Maddie! She brings so much joy to our lives that there are no words to describe it. Our long weekend was spent being thankful for so many things in our lives.

Here is Maddie on the go like usual!

We were able to be surrounded by an abundance of family!

Maddie and Uncle Ryan hanging out

Maddie with Great Grandpa and Grandma

Maddie with her cousin Briella

Maddie ate SO much food on Thanksgiving that I dont even know where to begin! She had stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, strawberry fluff, bread, green bean casserole, and dessert. . . .

Hmm, now what do we have here?

Not too bad, I think I will keep going. . .

This is great, can you get me more whip cream though? And she got some too. . .

Finger lickin' good!

Our weekend wrapped up with some time spent with friends celebrating the arrival of their baby girl in 2 short months! While we were at their shower we had a chance to meet Maddie's prom date Grant for the first time - what a little peanut!!!

Today is Maddie's 9 month check up at the Dr, so we will see where she measures up now! That girl is getting so big!!
I will have more to update later this week. . . .take care!

Happy 9 Month Birthday!

In a blink of an eye Maddie is already 9 months old, can you believe it! We have her 9 month photo shoot scheduled with our favorite photographers (The Spottswoods) so Pat took the day off and we are going to spend it as a family! I am looking forward to a day of doing whatever the heck we want!!
I feel as if Maddie has changed so much over the past month that I cant seem to remember everything, but I will give it my best shot!

Likes at 9 Months. . . . .
1) Eating - this girl continues to eat anything and everything we give her. If she sees Pat and I put something in our mouth, she needs to try it too. Some of her favorites include - Mac and Cheese, mashed potatoes, toast, pudding, etc etc. . .I could go on and on!
2) Crawling anywhere and everywhere - she is a quick one!

3) Pulling herself up on furniture and pulling herself up to a standing position in her crib. Gosh, whats next? Well. . .we know whats next. . .yikes!

Dislikes at 9 Months. . . . . .

1) Sitting still. . . .she wants to move move move!!!

2) Napping - STILL! But, I must admit, this is starting to get a tad better. And yes, she still naps in her swing. I will do whatever it takes to get her to catch a few ZZZZ's! And I checked the weight limit, we are still good!

We have been on the go a lot lately but doing what we can to take a step back and savor the moment as much as possible! I am anxious for Maddie's first Thanksgiving as she will be going crazy over all of the food that she can sample!!

Here are some recent shots of her. . ..

Rolling around in the basement acting goofy!

Eating mashed potatoes with her fingers!

Forget my fingers, I will just dump them in my mouth!

Continues to roll everywhere in her crib!

The eve before opening day. . . .she had to show her support to her daddy the hunter!

We would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Turkey Day!

On the move. . .

Hi -

I cant believe that I am able to update the blog twice in one week! I have only gotten a small taste of my new schedule so far, but let me tell you. . . .I LOVE IT! I feel as if there are more hours in my day and that I can actually enjoy then instead of running around. Maddie has been a blast this week showing us all of her new tricks. She even had to show off for the ladies at kidcare at the YMCA yesterday. I dropped Maddie off for about 30 minutes until Pat got there and forgot to tell them she crawls now. They put her down thinking she would play with the toys. . . .NO WAY, she took off across the room and had them running. I was able to watch the entire thing and laugh! Thats my girl! Here are a few fun pictures from this week!

Hanging out on the floor playing with mom!

A happy girl after a nap in her swing! Yes, she still naps in there! What would we have done without this thing????

She is eating EVERYTHING! If we are eating it, she wants it! Rice, noodles, toast, jello, pudding, you name it. . . .she wants to eat it!

Goofing around with Dad on his lunch break!

And out latest trick. . . .pulling myself up in my crib! What do you think we will be doing this weekend??? Lowering the mattress perhaps? I think so!

Maddie has always kept us on our toes, now even more so!! She is into everything and wants to explore anything and everything she can get her hands on. She is currently working on climbing up the furniture and pulling herself up. Look out world. . . .here comes curious Maddie!

Have a great weekend!

A Well Needed Break

Morning -

The past few weeks have been nothing but busy for us. I realized about a week and a half ago that I was writing down things I needed to talk to Pat about so I wouldn't forget! We all know that I am a fan of to-do lists, but to make one in order to discuss everything we need to??? Give me a break! Right then and there we both decided we needed to make some changes to try and free up a little time for us. I will be working some different hours at the Y which will make a big difference for us. We are also trying to set aside some time on the weekends to not be booked up!! All of this cagot figured out at a perfect time . . .a planned trip to Appleton to kick back at a hotel for a weekend. It was nice to not be on a schedule and relax in comfy clothing all weekend long!

Maddie and I doing what she loves best - reading her book as we wait for dad to get home from work!

Our little fish - look how long she is getting!

Hanging out poolside sucking on some water toys - rough life!

Kisses from Uncle Ryan! She loves to just sit and stare at him!

After Maddie got out of the water Pat spiked her hair and it stayed that way!

It was nice to get away and relax for the weekend. We were looking forward to a lazy and WARM Sunday at home. We spent some great quality time together. I think the highlight of my Sunday was laying in our bed rolling around with Maddie. . . .all you could hear were giggles coming from her! We did make our way downstairs to play for awhile and she rode her new friend Mr Lion for the longest time. . . .

All in all it was a great time! And I am happy to report that Miss Maddie is crawling everywhere, has been for a little while now but I forgot to include that on my last post. Also, she has 2 teeth finally! One is on the bottom in the middle and the other is off to the side on the top - Pat calls it her fang! She is growing up so darn quick. . . .

Yet another busy weekend for the Frohs!!!

Morning -

Life has not slowed down one bit for us! We are looking forward to getting away this upcoming weekend to kick back and relax because my gas tank and Pat's is running low! Both Pat and I worked on Friday and then headed back to Horicon to get prepared for a busy weekend. Saturday Pat headed to a wedding reception while I got to do something I have always wanted to do. . . . .go to a Badger football game!!!!!! It was a chilly day, but I didnt care, I got to watch the Badgers beat Purdue!

My first Badger game with my first ever friend! We go WAY back! Thanks for getting the tickets Jill!

After the game we hung out and put Maddie in her costume for fun because it was too cold and windy for her to go anywhere!!!

Teaching Uncle Ryan how to read!

What a ham!

Saturday night Pat and I went out to dinner for my brothers birthday. I cant tell you the last time we went out to eat - it was so nice! After dinner we headed out for a bit to celebrate Halloween! Here is what we ran into. . . .

Pat, Jason (Kari's brother), and Ryan

No costumes for us. . . .we are boring - I KNOW!

Howard Stern (Pat's brother Eric)

It was nice to get out and enjoy some time with family and friends!! Another busy week ahead of us. . . .but a relaxing weekend is in the horizon!
