Now for My Next Trick!

Here our happy little girl learned how to roll over all on her own. We are so excited for her. The newest change we have to adapt to. Right after she did this Dad left her on her back to grab his water bottle and by the time he looked up (5 seconds later) she was back over on her stomach. Pretty soon she is going to be running away from me.

Way to Go Babygirl!

Love,
Dad

Rolling Over!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi!!

Well, I am happy to report that Maddie rolled over by herself for the first time today! She has been rolling over for weeks now, but we have always had to give her a slight nudge or hold our hand on her back to keep her from flopping onto her back. The last week she has had us on the edge of our seats waiting for this to happy and today was finally the day! I am SO happy that Pat was home on lunch and able to see this milestone! The best part is that she wont stop rolling over now! haha. . .We praised her, gave her kisses, and placed her on her back. . . . .she rolled over again! I ran and got the camera and video camera so we could have this moment saved. Pat will have to upload the video tonight. . .I have not figured that out just yet! Here is a picture of her after her first roll over!

And yes, she rolled over UNDER her jungle playmat. . .of all places to rollover. . . .the one with the least amount of space to do it in!! Im so proud of this little peanut!!!

Video to come soon. . . .

Summer Lovin. . .

Hi,

I am so happy with how the weather has been lately. . .summer is here! Pat and I LOVE the summer months! Why the heck do we live in WI then. . .why not AZ where it is summer like all year round? If Pat had his way we would be moved to a warmer climate tomorrow! I'm not convinced just yet. This weekend was a summer filled weekend! Saturday we hit up the Brewer game and enjoyed the beautiful 80 degree day! Maddie cheered on the Brewers at home in the AC with grandma and grandpa - Thanks again for watching her! :) Yesterday we spent the day outside while Maddie splashed in her new pool. Doesn't get more summer than that! Im so greatful to have this time off with Maddie. . .I mean who wouldnt want to be off of work over the summer?? Its looking to be another nice day today. . . .a few laps around the pool and/or a walk are in order for sure!

Playtime on Friday after Pat got home from work

Story Time with Maddie

Maddie sure loves to tell stories. Here is one of her latest stories that she told mom. She is sure becoming more of a talker every day. Some of the noises she is learning to make are just hilarious. Enjoy...

Let's Celebrate!

This weekend was filled with many reasons to celebrate!! It was such a nice low key weekend for this Froh family. Friday Pat and I were able to get a few things done around the house in the morning while Maddie napped, and then we spent a lot of time outside and hanging out in the afternoon. I was relaxed, but anxious at the same time. I was waiting for a phone call. . . .and that phone call finally arrived around 5:30pm. When I picked up the phone, this is what I heard, "WE ARE GOING TO BE SISTERS!" FINALLY. . . .Ryan proposed to Kari! I have had the honor of helping him over the past few months with getting everything ready. . . what an honor! We are so happy for the two of them and can't wait for the big day!

Congrats Ryan and Kari!!

Saturday we relaxed at home before our friends arrived for a cookout. It was so nice to be able to get together with some friends and celebrate the exciting things in their lives. We had Ryan and Kari's wedding to celebrate as well as the exciting news of Maddie's prom date. . . .our friends Andy and Ashley are expecting a baby boy in November! Looking around the circle of people there, it was nice to remember the carefree days of high school as well as share in the life changing events that they are going through right now. We are blessed to have such great friends!

Maddie's 4th of July outfit - it's not red/white/blue, but very cute! And best of all, a gift from her daddy!

Hanging out with Uncle Ryan!

Sunday was yet another relaxing day as we took Maddie to her first festival - Summerfest! There were a lot of new things to smell, see, and hear down there!

For my next trick. . . .

Well, as you can see, Miss Maddie is growing up fast! It was so much fun watching her eat cereal the other day. I was prepared for her to spit it out and not like it, boy was I wrong! She was actually ticked when there wasnt anything left in the bowl for her! Pat was running the video camera while I fed her, but then we shut the camera off and Pat tried feeding her. Here is what happened. . . . .
All appears to be going well. . .

We get a big smile. . .

Then Maddie pulls a swift move that Pat didnt see coming and hit her bowl of cereal on her head!

The past few weeks with Maddie has been so much fun. It is amazing to watch her sit and try to figure everything out. During the day we spend so much time working on rolling over, standing up, and reading books. Here are a few shots of Maddie in action!

Just after Maddie rolled over. . .she needed a little help, but not much!

A smile for mom . .

Standing up with daddy this morning!

We will have much more to post in the days to come. Pat and I broke down and bought her a swimming pool over the weekend. It should be delivered today!!! Our fingers are crossed that the weekend brings warm weather so that we can practice our strokes!

Have a good week!

Love,

Jamie
